SDG&E Rebates for Fire Families
Important information regarding rebates from SDG&E for energy efficient construction of up to $4,000 per qualifying home. It is important to note that in order to qualify, you must apply for the program well before your final inspection, preferably before energy calculations, but at minimum prior to drywall while the walls are still open. SDG&E will inspect the insulation in your walls as well as your HVAC, water heating systems, etc. to confirm they meet standards. DO NOT WAIT FOR FINAL INSPECTION - IT WILL BE TOO LATE!!
